PTA Contacts & Committees
The Reeceville PTA helps to enrich our children's school experience through programs and events for our students and their families. Below you will find PTA contact information, including a list and description of committees. We welcome your help with any and all events!

Bag Bingo (spring):
The Reeceville PTA hosted its first Designer Bag Bingo in Spring 2019, and it was so much fun that we can't wait to plan the next one! We'll need help finding sponsors and raffle donations, buying bags, and organizing and staffing the event itself. Please let us know if you'd like to be a part of our newest and largest annual fundraiser!
Book Fair (winter):
Scholastic Book Fair brings the bookstore right to Reeceville! The book fair allows children and their families an opportunity to purchase reasonably priced books during school or at the evening Family Night. Committee members organize volunteers and activities for the event.
Fall Fundraiser:
The Fall Fundraiser Committee selects & runs a fundraiser to be held during the fall.
Family Dance (winter):
The Family Dance is a fun evening activity with a DJ. The committee coordinates all aspects of the dance.
Field Day (late May or early June):
The Field Day Committee organizes volunteers, snacks, and activities for the annual Field Day.
Holiday Shop (December, during school hours):
The Holiday Shop Committee organizes and hosts a special holiday shop for children to purchase gifts for family members and friends.
Hospitality Committee:
The Hospitality Committee helps to welcome new families and other guests to Reeceville by providing refreshments at events like kindergarten orientation, science fair, and kindergarten registration, among others.
Membership:
The Membership Committee handles the annual membership drive, submits membership dues to the state PTA, completes membership cards, and maintains our member list for PTA.
Pretzels (monthly, year-round):
The Pretzel Committee sells, organizes, and distributes monthly pretzels.
PSSA Support (spring, during PSSA weeks):
Reeceville PTA sponsors breakfast/snacks for children in grades 3-5 on PSSA testing days. This committee coordinates food, schedules, and volunteers for this event, and provides breakfast/snacks to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students on all testing days.
School Store (during school hours):
The School Store Committee purchases school supplies and sells them to the students.
Spirit Wear:
The Spirit Wear committee arranges for the sale of school shirts, sweatshirts, and other items.
Spring Fundraiser:
The Spring Fundraiser Committee selects & runs a fundraiser to be held during the spring.
Staff Appreciation (winter & spring):
The Staff Appreciation Committee arranges an event to recognize the efforts of the staff at Reeceville Elementary during staff appreciation week.
Yearbook:
The Yearbook Committee works throughout the year gathering photographs of the many activities and field trips, assemblies and special guests. The yearbook is published in May and is distributed in early June.
